Studio Update: 5 Stock Certificates

Just a quick update so you can see what I've been up to in the studio.

These are a couple that have been in production for several weeks and are almost ready for assembly. In reality they're actually a bit further along than pictured here, but this is the latest shot I have of them:

   

I'm still working on the details of this one, I'm thinking of having highly polished sterling silver rings rolling around inside this piece as opposed to my "regular" star disks...but I'm not sure exactly what the end product will be just yet. Here's where I am so far:

 

This one has the same shape as the one above, but in the background are three vintage international postage stamps seen through three vintage scientific lenses:
 

   

And last but not least I just started work on this piece this past week...and did I ever work! Lots of sawing and even more filing...filing for DAYS and that's not an exaggeration! Here is where I am so far:
