OK, so don't get me wrong, I love those yummy, flaky, buttery goodies as much as the next person, but look what I got in my inbox today:
Are you kidding me? I'm going to give my Mom 3 months of croissants? Do people actually do this kind of thing? Three deliveries of frozen croissants for Mom, for Mother's Day? So she eats croissants for three months, gains 30 pounds then goes to the doctor with a clogged artery? Nice.
Not for me, but I had to open it...just to see how the hell they are selling this as a Mother's Day gift.
Does this cut it for some people? Three UPS deliveries of frozen croissants...and they cost $89!
OK people, if you've got $89 to spend on Mom do yourself and your Mom a favor...take her out for a really nice lunch for goodness sake, get her a massage, spend some quality time with her, but for God's sake PLEASE don't send her frozen croissants!!! What the ?
